Bathroom Remodeling in Redding, Connecticut
Redding is one of Fairfield County's most rural and historic towns — wooded two-acre lots, antique homes, and a deep New England character that residents protect fiercely. A bathroom remodel here often means working inside an older, sometimes antique home on a private well and septic system, where preserving character and modernizing the systems have to happen at the same time. Omega Development has remodeled bathrooms across Redding for more than 20 years with exactly that balance in mind.
From Georgetown and West Redding to Redding Ridge and Redding Center, one in-house Omega crew handles carpentry, tile, plumbing, and electrical under a single roof — no subcontractor juggling, a cleaner job site, and a schedule you can count on. Every project is designed in 3D before demo day, so you see the finished bathroom before we lift a hammer.
We pull Redding's permits and coordinate well, septic, and wetlands review where required, managing inspections start to finish. Whether it's a full primary-bath transformation, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a period-sensitive refresh, you get local knowledge and a licensed, insured crew on every job.
What to know about remodeling a bathroom in Redding
Redding is one of Fairfield County's most historic, rural towns, and its homes reflect that — antique houses, older Colonials, and custom homes on wooded two-acre lots, many on private wells and septic. Remodeling a bathroom in an older or antique Redding home usually means modernizing systems and preserving character at the same time: updating supply lines, venting, and subfloors while protecting original trim, doors, and proportions.
On wells and septic, we size fixtures and drainage to what the property supports for reliable year-round performance, and we plan around the quirks older homes throw at us — uneven floors, undersized joists, and plumbing that was never meant for a modern layout.
Permits go through the Redding Building Department, and projects can also require health-district or wetlands review given the town's conservation land, which we coordinate for you. Cost drivers here are the home's age and hidden conditions, the amount of custom and tile work, and whether plumbing is being relocated.
Built for Redding's antique homes, wells & septic
In Redding's older and antique homes, we modernize dated plumbing and layouts while respecting original trim, proportions, and materials — so the new bathroom reads as original, not bolted-on. On the town's private wells and septic systems, we size fixtures and drainage to match what the property supports for reliable performance year-round.
It was a pleasure working with Inacio and the Omega team! My home renovation project was not an easy or simple one, with many challenges along the way, as most construction projects tend to be. Inacio was able to navigate his way through the tough times and find solutions, ultimately leading to a stellar finished product, far exceeding expectations. What's also nice is that we've developed and continue to maintain a strong relationship even to this day. Inacio is a great person and a solid resource to have.

Inacio and his team at Omega built a stunning three-season porch for my family. There aren't enough words to say how impressed we were with his honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship. Inacio was always available and frequently came to check on the work. His team is professional and meticulous — especially the finish carpentry guys, amazing! When an issue came up, Inacio fixed it, no questions asked — truly a man of his word. I will never use anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Omega Development renovated my home's living room, hallway, two full bathrooms, and a half powder room after a water leak from the second-floor bathroom. I was amazed by Omega crew's craftsmanship and detail-oriented finishes — the work really came out great. I fully recommend them.

Omega did two jobs for us and we are so pleased with the results. They have skilled workers who complete whatever you ask while keeping the rest of the home and their work area as clean as possible. They replaced sheet rock and repainted a ceiling in one room, then did a tile demo and wall/tile install in another bathroom. Very timely — they'd arrive early to get started as soon as they could.

Fantastic experience with Omega on the renovation of my home. Inacio and his team were always there, over-communicating, and the end results are extremely high quality. It's hard to find honest, high-quality contractors today, and I'm delighted to have hired Inacio and his team — I'd recommend them highly to anyone.

The best! I cannot recommend Inacio, Rafa, and their entire team more highly. Omega Development executed a major home renovation for my family — extending our living room, a full kitchen reno, and an additional master bedroom and bath.

We have used Omega for all our needs these past few years. That has included everything from minor repairs, a full house painting (inside and out), and floor refinishing, to an addition on the third floor.
