Bathroom Remodeling in Darien, Connecticut
A bathroom in Darien has to work as hard as the home around it. Along Tokeneke and the Noroton shoreline, coastal humidity and salt air push moisture into walls and subfloors, so a remodel here lives or dies on waterproofing and ventilation done right the first time. Inland, Darien's classic Colonials and mid-century homes often hide dated layouts, undersized vanities, and original plumbing that a thoughtful remodel can transform into a spa-grade primary bath without losing the home's character.
For more than 20 years, Omega Development has remodeled bathrooms across Darien with one in-house crew handling carpentry, tile, plumbing, and electrical under a single roof. That means no subcontractor juggling, a cleaner job site, and a schedule busy Darien families can actually count on. Every project is designed in 3D before demo day, so you see your finished bathroom — tile, vanity, lighting, and layout — before we lift a hammer.
We handle Darien's permits and inspections start to finish, and we build to code for the town's coastal and flood-zone requirements where they apply. Whether it's a full master-bath transformation, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a vanity-and-tile refresh, you get local knowledge and a licensed, insured crew on every job.
What to know about remodeling a bathroom in Darien
Darien's housing leans toward mid-century Colonials and Capes alongside newer luxury builds, and a large share of the bathrooms we remodel here still carry their original 1960s–80s plumbing, venting, and layouts. In those homes a remodel usually goes deeper than surfaces — we bring supply lines, drainage, and exhaust up to current code and, where needed, repair subfloors before any tile goes down.
The most-requested Darien projects are primary-suite spa baths, tub-to-shower conversions, and powder-room updates that punch above their size. Near Tokeneke and the Noroton shoreline, we add the elevation- and moisture-aware detailing a coastal home needs; inland, the focus is opening dated layouts and adding storage.
A typical Darien bathroom runs about three to five weeks on site once demo begins, and the biggest cost variables are how far plumbing moves, the amount of tile and stone, and custom cabinetry. We put every line in a written estimate so there are no surprises after we start.
Built for Darien's coast and its Colonials
Near the water in Tokeneke and Noroton Heights, we specify moisture-smart materials, proper vapor management, and ventilation sized for the space — the details that keep a shoreline bathroom beautiful and mold-free for decades, not seasons. In Darien's older Colonials, we modernize plumbing and layouts while respecting the home's proportions and trim, so the new bathroom feels original, not bolted-on.

It was a pleasure working with Inacio and the Omega team! My home renovation project was not an easy or simple one, with many challenges along the way, as most construction projects tend to be. Inacio was able to navigate his way through the tough times and find solutions, ultimately leading to a stellar finished product, far exceeding expectations. What's also nice is that we've developed and continue to maintain a strong relationship even to this day. Inacio is a great person and a solid resource to have.

Inacio and his team at Omega built a stunning three-season porch for my family. There aren't enough words to say how impressed we were with his honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship. Inacio was always available and frequently came to check on the work. His team is professional and meticulous — especially the finish carpentry guys, amazing! When an issue came up, Inacio fixed it, no questions asked — truly a man of his word. I will never use anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Omega Development renovated my home's living room, hallway, two full bathrooms, and a half powder room after a water leak from the second-floor bathroom. I was amazed by Omega crew's craftsmanship and detail-oriented finishes — the work really came out great. I fully recommend them.

Omega did two jobs for us and we are so pleased with the results. They have skilled workers who complete whatever you ask while keeping the rest of the home and their work area as clean as possible. They replaced sheet rock and repainted a ceiling in one room, then did a tile demo and wall/tile install in another bathroom. Very timely — they'd arrive early to get started as soon as they could.

Fantastic experience with Omega on the renovation of my home. Inacio and his team were always there, over-communicating, and the end results are extremely high quality. It's hard to find honest, high-quality contractors today, and I'm delighted to have hired Inacio and his team — I'd recommend them highly to anyone.

The best! I cannot recommend Inacio, Rafa, and their entire team more highly. Omega Development executed a major home renovation for my family — extending our living room, a full kitchen reno, and an additional master bedroom and bath.

We have used Omega for all our needs these past few years. That has included everything from minor repairs, a full house painting (inside and out), and floor refinishing, to an addition on the third floor.
